Kyle residents will soon have a shorter drive for their ramen and sushi cravings as an area chain expands into the Texas Hill Country. The newest location will be a fourth for the Central Texas-based restaurant.

The Kyle Economic Development Department announced the coming restaurant on Facebook on February 8.

"Get ready to tantalize your taste buds because something delicious is coming your way! We're thrilled to announce that Bluefin Sushi & Ramen will soon be opening its doors right here in Kyle!" Kyle EDC announced in the post.

The restaurant will be located at 151 Evans Drive, Suite 111, Kyle, TX 78640. Inside, guests will be able to enjoy a "cool, laid-back space that's all about community," according to the post.

As for dishes, the sushi and ramen joint will be serving up its signature specialties, ranging from an assortment of fresh sushi rolls to poke bowls and various ramen. A few other menu items include hamachi chili, bluefin-style ceviche, and cheesecake tempura.

"Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure like no other!" Kyle EDC teased.

Although an official opening date has yet to be released, many residents are excited for the fourth location to open its doors.

"Great news! We need more Asian options in the Buda/Kyle area. I have eaten at the one in Austin, and we enjoy their food!" Mike Fuller said.

Other longtime fans of the restaurants joined in on the commentating to share their joy for the newest location announcement.

"Oh this place became my favorite in South Austin! I’m so excited!!!" Isadora Day said.

They were followed by Abigail Kirk, who said, "This was our favorite restaurant in Austin. We were so bummed to leave them when we moved here. This is awesome!"

Bluefin Sushi Bar and Ramen has three other locations in Austin, Lakeway, and Round Rock. The closest location to Kyle is the chain's first restaurant, which opened in 2021, just over 20 miles away in Southwest Austin.
