KYLE, TEXAS – The City of Kyle is actively seeking proposals from experienced hoteliers, developers, or development teams to design, construct, and operate a premier hotel and convention facility. The facility will be situated on approximately four acres of prime creek-front property within Kyle’s emerging Lake Park District.
Strategically located along I-35, the site offers unparalleled access to a major transit corridor while boasting a picturesque natural landscape. This project represents a unique opportunity to create a top-tier destination that will serve as a hub for business, leisure, and regional gatherings.
The selected development partner will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kyle by contributing to the city’s economic vitality and creating a landmark that reflects its growing status as a regional destination. The project is envisioned as part of a larger development that includes a new regional hospital, residential units, retail spaces, and a waterfront park, enhancing the area’s vibrancy and appeal.
The facility will align with the City’s vision of fostering economic growth while enhancing community amenities. The project site benefits from its proximity to major attractions, including a regional hospital, Austin Community College’s expanding health sciences campus, and easy connectivity to Austin and San Antonio.
“The Lake Park District Hotel and Convention Center will not only provide an exceptional venue for business and leisure travelers but will also bolster Kyle’s economic development efforts and bring new opportunities to the community,” said Victoria Vargas, Director of Economic Development for the City of Kyle. “This is a key step in creating a destination that reflects our city’s natural beauty, dynamic growth, and forward-thinking spirit.”
