The Texas Hill Country continues to see businesses growing across the community, many of which are set to open their doors in 2024. One such city is set to open 16 new businesses next year, bringing everything from restaurants, gyms, and activities for all ages to the booming town.
Along the I-35 corridor, Kyle stands as the third fastest-growing city in the country, according to Victoria Vargas, City of Kyle Director of Economic Development. With that growth comes new businesses and with those businesses come new residents, and the cycle repeats. So, these 12 new businesses could not be coming at a better time.
“The potential for growth here, along with the commercial activity and quality of life, is attractive to many businesses,” Vargas said to MySA when talking about the businesses coming to Kyle.
The new businesses will bring additional amenities to Kyle residents. Vargas said 61% of its residents leave the city whenever they go shopping. So, with the new developments, the city will soon be able to benefit from local tax dollars and, in turn, create new amenities for its residents.
Additionally, the new businesses will bring jobs for many of the residents in the area, specifically young job seekers looking to gain experience in the workforce.
