Kansas City-based NorthPoint Development closed on 74 acres and will develop the Plum Creek Industrial Center in Kyle, which will provide 859,000 square feet of new Class A industrial space. This will be NorthPoint Development’s first project in the Austin MSA.
The Plum Creek Industrial Center will feature four industrial buildings located just west of Interstate 35 at Kohlers Crossing, providing easy access to both Austin and San Antonio. The project will be developed in two phases. Construction of Phase I will consist of two buildings totaling 440,000 square feet.
NorthPoint selected Travis Hicks and Chase Clancy of Colliers International as its brokerage partners for this project.
“We’ve seen a very healthy balance of supply and demand in the Austin industrial market including strong leasing velocity in Buda and Kyle, and we’re excited to build on the growing momentum in the Hays County submarket,” said Hicks.
